Even though I had a number of friends in Hong Kong, it took me until 2012 to finally take a trip to see them. Being my first time in Hong Kong, we took a whirlwind tour of all the sites…in a day. The rest of the trip was then spent eating and drinking and taking afternoon tea from nice vantage points. My parents were coincidentally in Taiwan for the year, so we took a short flight over to Taiwan as well, though I left those family photos out.
