Some friends and I flew down to Georgia to celebrate 4th of July with our friends who had fled the city a few years prior. The last time I had visited Georgia was during one of our family road trips when we lived in Texas. Specifically to the Georgia Stone Mountain Park, which I’d realize much later as an adult was a monument to a group of slave-loving racists. So that was super. Anyway, we took in the non-racist sites around Atlanta, visited the Georgia Aquarium, and grilled some amazing food. The photos from this trip were also the first photos I took with my shiny new Canon 5D Mk2.
